Thalia Barn Cat Rescue

Rescuing cats. Restoring hope.

Thalia Barn Cat Rescue Society was born from love and loss. It all started with one beloved cat named Thalia, whose disappearance sparked a journey of compassion and action. When Thalia went missing, her guardian launched a desperate search and discovered the overwhelming need for help among stray and feral cats in the community.

Determined to make a difference, our founder began volunteering with local rescue organizations and soon realized the urgent need for a dedicated effort. From that passion, Thalia Barn Cat Rescue Society was created—a safe haven for cats who have no one else to turn to.

Our Story

Our Mission

We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and feral cats in rural and underserved areas. Without government or municipal funding, we rely entirely on donations and community support to provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to cats in need.

Why We Exist

Every cat deserves a chance at life. Despite sleepless nights and countless challenges, we continue to fight for those who cannot speak for themselves. Our work is fueled by compassion and the belief that together, we can make a difference.

What We Do
  • Rescue & Rehabilitation: Helping cats from colonies and unsafe environments find safety and care.

  • Community Support: Assisting individuals and families who encounter stray or feral cats.

  • Education & Advocacy: Raising awareness about responsible pet care and the importance of spaying/neutering.

Rescue

We take in abandoned and neglected cats, give urgent medical care, and pair them with loving foster or forever homes.

Mom's Last Litter

We spay female cats when the complete litter is surrendered to us for care and adoption.

We humanely trap community cats for spay/neuter and vaccination to reduce suffering and prevent future litters.
