Rescuing Cats

Giving abandoned and at-risk cats a second chance through rescue, care, and love.

The Hard Work Behind Every Rescue

Rescuing cats isn’t easy—it’s a commitment that often means late nights, long drives, and constant coordination. Our team works tirelessly to:

  • Plan and execute humane trapping for feral colonies

  • Coordinate pickups for lost or abandoned cats

  • Find foster homes or safe spaces when shelters are full

  • Handle emergency care for injured or sick cats

  • Communicate with owners and networks to reunite lost pets

Every rescue takes time, effort, and resources—but it’s worth it to give these cats a second chance.

Colony Captures

We work with property owners and communities to humanely trap and capture entire colonies of feral or semi-feral cats. This allows us to provide medical care, spay/neuter services, and find appropriate placements—whether that’s adoption or barn homes for cats who prefer outdoor life.

Lost or Abandoned Cats

We want to live in a world where people can buy homes that match their needs rather than having to find a compromise and settle on the second-best option. That's why we take a lot of time and care in getting to know our clients from the moment they reach out to us and ask for our help.

Immediate Care

Every rescued cat receives immediate attention for urgent needs—whether it’s food, shelter, or emergency medical treatment. Our goal is to stabilize and comfort them before moving forward with long-term solutions.

Partnering for Greater Impact

Thalia Barn Cat Rescue is a small team doing big work—but we can’t do it alone. If you’re looking to help a cat in need, please consider reaching out to the many incredible organizations in the Valley that share our mission. Together, we can make sure every cat gets the care and safety they deserve.
